What an intimate display of raw, honest emotion. The vulnerability of Venus’ heart is such a beautiful act of worship to the Lord. As I listen to her words, I am reminded of 1 Peter 5:7… “Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” NIV Venus shows us the reality of how challenging this in times of despair but that it is possible in His strength. As the journey unfolds, I find myself awaiting the episode that God is preparing as a victory proclamation, a overcomer's celebration – I believe it is coming soon, my sister. My hope is that everyone of us who have been led to this site will pray for Venus, and in doing so, I pray our eyes will be opened to others in our sphere of influence who are in a similar struggle and that we share this message with them. What an anthem of hope to a world steeped in anxiety and depression! Thank you for being obedient, Venus! (Genesis 50:20… “What you [Devil] intended to harm me, God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” NIV

This journey started as a way for me to try and deal with all of the emotions that I was experiencing from being withdrawn from daily life to manage the progressive symptoms of an undiagnosed neurological condition. I started writing as a way to heal and process. I had more to say than I expected and the healer went even deeper. Throughout what was an unexpected process, it has become the beautiful discovery of hidden gifts and talents that I haven't used in decades. It's as though God had prepared me in various roles and seasons, all to be set aside and waiting, for such a time as this...
